The 50th Causeway Coast Golf Tournament tees off the 4th – 9th June 2017, quickly followed by The Dubai Duty Free Irish Open - hosted by the Rory Foundation - taking place in Portstewart Golf Club from the 4 – 9 July 2017.

Established in 1967, the Causeway Coast Golf Tournament plays over four courses: Royal Portrush (Valley), Castlerock Golf Club, Ballycastle & Ballyliffin (Old Course).

Royal Portrush, founded in 1888, boasts two fantastic courses – the championship Dunluce Course and the smaller but equally enjoyable Valley course, where Graeme McDowell learned his golf at an early stage.

Castlerock is one of Northern Ireland's hidden gems and embodies all the essential charms of links golf, situated in the charming seaside village of Castlerock. Its Championship Mussenden course is a pure seaside routing with firm fast greens and its best known hole is the Leg o' Mutton, a 200-yard par 3.

Founded in 1890, Ballycastle Golf Club – a founder member of the Golfing Union of Ireland – is a parkland/links course offering outstanding panoramic views of the coast.

The Dubai Duty Free Irish Open - hosted by the Rory Foundation, will be hosted by Portstewart Golf Club, one of Northern Ireland's top links courses.

Portstewart features three 18-hole layouts, with the Des Giffin-designed Strand Course – which will host the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open – considered the jewel in the crown. The Strand Course is a classic par 72 links course with views over the Atlantic Ocean, the stunning Causeway Coastal Route and the River Bann. The first hole with its elevated tee, dogleg to the green and sandy strip on the right is considered the best opening hole in Ireland.

For something less challenging, the Riverside Course stretches from the Clubhouse down to the Rover Bann. And if you like a little heritage in your game, the original Old Course has tested players since 1894.

The Giant's Causeway

For off course activity, you are in the right place! The Causeway Coastal Route is a stunning coastal drive along the northern coast of Ireland, taking in fantastic visitor attractions such as the UNESCO World Heritage Site the 5* Giant's Causeway, the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge and the world famous 4* Bushmills Distillery.
