Northern Ireland will also host some fantastic Amateur Golf competitions in 2017. The 50th Causeway Coast Golf Tournament will take place from the 4th – 9th June 2017 over 4 courses with a rest day. Royal Portrush (Valley), Castlerock Golf Club, Ballycastle & Ballyliffin (Old Course) will host the tournament.

It's not only a great way to experience some of Northern Ireland's top courses but off the course you can take in the stunning Causeway Coastal Route and visit some of Northern Ireland's top tourist attractions, such as the Giant's Causeway, Bushmills Distillery, Dunluce Castle, to name but a few.

Belfast too will play host to the inaugural Belfast Parkland International amateur golf competition. Taking place Monday 3 – Wednesday 5 July, the competition will be played out over three of Belfast's best parkland courses - Malone Golf Club, Royal Belfast and Shandon Park Golf Club.

Competition entrants to this 3 day pairs event will also receive discounted green fees at Holywood Golf Club - where Rory McIlroy started his career at a very young age - and Belvoir Park where, during World War II, the 3rd, 4th and 5th fairways were used for cultivating potatoes and flax in the 'Dig for Victory' campaign.

Then discover the Titanic City of Belfast recently named the 'second best place to travel in 2017' by Travel and Leisure. Experience the newly crowned 'World's Leading Tourist Attraction', Titanic Belfast situated in the historic Titanic Quarter. Wander around the city centre, visit the beautiful City Hall and soak up the atmosphere in the vibrant Cathedral Quarter, packed with historic pubs and award-winning restaurants.

The Down Summer Trophy takes place in August 2017. Played over three days, on three different golf courses, players are guaranteed to play on some of the best golf courses in the world with the most stunning views – Royal County Down, Ardglass Golf Club Course and Spa Golf Club.

Currently ranked as the Number 1 course in the world by Golf Digest magazine, Royal County Down is located in the naturally beautiful links setting of the Murlough Nature Reserve, with panoramic views over the Irish Sea. Ardglass offers a dramatic layout with several tees and greens overlooking the ocean to give a rugged feel. And Spa, with its panoramic views from the 17th tee, overlooks the spectacular Mourne Mountains.
