Following the worldwide success of the G30, PING have taken their award-winning driver to the next level with the launch of the G Series.

Thanks to their unique Dragonfly Technology, PING can now offer more distance and more forgiveness. In the search for the Holy Grail, it’s all about optimizing the centre of gravity (CG) and the dragonfly design on the clubhead has enabled PING’s engineers to move the CG lower and deeper.

.G_Driver_FACE_Illustration.pngA thinner crown allows for a redistribution of weight and while the technical details are fascinating, the most important thing for golfers is that the G Series promises more distance off the tee. Combined with increased forgiveness and improved clubhead aerodynamics, the G Series has been built to generate faster clubhead speed.

In addition to the G Series driver, which has three different options, PING have also unveiled new fairway woods, hybrids and irons as well as the G Crossover,  a new category of club designed to provide the distance of a hybrid with the control and accuracy of an iron.

Also new to the G series is the Stretch 3; a larger headed driving 3-wood with a deeper, less-lofted face for golfers seeking a versatile driver alternative or hotter-faced fairway wood. Featuring all the same technological advancements that can be found in the regular G fairway woods (Carpenter 455 steel face, cascading sole design and a uniquely thin crown), the Stretch 3 provides increased ball speeds and less spin, leading to more distance and accuracy. The new G range of fairway woods also includes an SF Tec version which utilises a more heel-side centre of gravity in order to provide shot bend correction.
All new products can be pre-ordered beginning today at PING-authorised golf shops around the world. The G Series driver will retail at €479 while the G Fairway Woods will retail at €299. The G Hybrids and Crossover are retailing at €249. The G Irons are retailing at €128 per club (steel) and €145 per club (graphite).
