Founded in 1937, Castletroy GC enjoys a well-deserved reputation as one of Ireland’s finest 18-hole parkland golf courses (Ranked 61 in the Golf Digest’s Top 100 Irish Courses).
Re-designed in 2006, and with an overall membership in excess of 1,000 the club is seeking applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of self-employed golf professional.
The successful candidate will be required to take responsibility for the delivery and development of golf operations, ensuring that member and guest expectations are consistently met or exceeded. Customer service and relationship management skills will be very important considerations.
Areas of responsibility will include:
- Delivering high quality individual and group coaching
- Operating a successful retail outlet, providing custom fitting, expert advice and customer service
- Active promotion of the game of golf, developing golf programmes and enhancing the membership experience at the club
The position will also require the newly appointed person to be innovative and proactive in attracting new members and supporting membership retention initiatives.
