Sharvin on top in new Team Ireland series

​A new series of 36-hole tournaments for Team Ireland supported golfers got underway at Carton House on Tuesday.

Played over both courses, Cormac Sharvin came out on top with an 8-under par total with rookie pro Ronan Mullarney taking second spot just one shot back. 

Conor O’Rourke sealed third place on -4 while Leona Maguire continued her preparations for her return to the tour with a fourth place finish.

More events will be added over the course of the coming weeks as Team Ireland pros prepare for a return to competitive action.
