Assistant course manager sought at Beech Park

​Beech Park Golf Club, Co Dublin is looking to recruit an experienced greenkeeper to fill the role of Assistant Course Manager​

Beech Park is a well-established private members club founded in 1973 and has been located at its current site since 1983.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Course Manager in the management, preparation and development of the course and surrounding areas. It will entail supervising, planning, maintaining and participating in the overall management of the facility.

Our ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications, experience and skills:

* A minimum of 5 years experience in the golf course maintenance industry
* A recognised qualification in Sports Turf Management and Maintenance
* Sustainable Use Directive (SUD) registered
* Knowledge of golf course construction, drainage and irrigation systems
* An understanding of Health and Safety
* Computer literate
* Proven management experience including working within and managing a greenkeeping team
* A desire to progress in the industry and Continuous Professional Development
* The ability to work in an efficient and effective manner and prioritise work schedules
* Enthusiasm, passion and high motivation
* Excellent communication skills and a commitment to team play
* Proven experience in the preparation and operation of greenkeeping machinery and equipment including basic fault finding
* A full driving licence
* An understanding of the game of golf
* Punctuality and a flexible approach to working hours

The remuneration package will be commensurate with the level of responsibility and with the successful candidate's level of experience.
