The Golfing Union of Ireland have named their teams for the Quadrangular Tournament and an upcoming international against Wales.

Six players travel to Chantilly for the Quadrangular Tournament featuring hosts France, Spain and Italy. Separately, an eight-member team play Wales in Rosslare. Each event counts on the Bridgestone Boys International Order of Merit with valuable points up for grabs at both venues.

Five of the six players selected for the Quadrangular were capped at last year's Boys Home Internationals: Max Kennedy (Royal Dublin), Odhran Maguire (Slieve Russell), Aaron Marshall (Lisburn), Tom McKibbin (Holywood) and Luke O'Neill (Connemara). Joshua McCabe (Roganstown) completes the line-up.

Last year's Irish U16 champion Dylan Keating (Seapoint) has been included in the team to play Wales along with Josh Black (Lisburn), Joseph Byrne (Baltinglass), Robert Galligan (Elm Park), Alex Maguire (Laytown & Bettystown), Keaton Morrison (Greenacres), Sam Murphy (Portumna) and Adam Smith (Mullingar). This year's match is being run in conjunction with a girls international between Ireland and Wales, which takes place on the same dates.

Ireland Boys Captain Alasdair Gibson (Knock) and coach Stephen Hood accompany the team at the Quadrangular. Kevin Raftery (Forrest Little) and Kevin Murray (Tramore) accompany the team against Wales.

These matches form part of the GUI's High Performance programme for Junior Golf in 2019. The GUI's High Performance Programme is supported by Sport Ireland, Sport NI and The R&A.
