This year's expanded Bridgestone Order of Merit will make its final stop at the Mullingar Scratch Trophy from 10 to 11 August.

Sunday, 14 July is the closing date for entries to the Mullingar Scratch Trophy, which will determine the final standings on the Bridgestone Order of Merit for 2019. The top three players gain automatic selection on the Ireland team for the Home Internationals.

The Mullingar Scratch Trophy, which is now run in partnership between GUI Leinster Golf and Mullingar Golf Club has a rich tradition stretching back to 1963 and has long been recognised as a staging post in the careers of Ireland's greatest players. For the first time in 2019, the tournament will also serve as a counting event on the Bridgestone Order of Merit.

With precious points at stake for those players vying to make the Ireland team, Mullingar will bring the curtain down on the race for the Bridgestone Order of Merit title. Ireland hosts the Home Internationals at Lahinch from 11 to 13 September.
