Ireland were denied by England for the second year running in a thrilling title showdown at the Boys Home Internationals.

After wins against Scotland (​10-5) and Wales (9-6), Ireland were narrowly beaten 8-7 by England on the final day in what was a repeat result of last year's title decider.
