Colm Campbell (Warrenpoint) and Matthew McClean (Malone) have been selected by the GUI to compete in the Juan Carlos Tailhade Cup from 31st October - 3rd November at Los Lagertos and in the 60th staging of the Argentine Stroke Play Championship at Estancias Golf Club from 6th - 9th November.
Both Campbell and McClean enjoyed solid seasons, finishing third and fourth in the Bridgestone Order of Merit.
Ireland internationals Tiarnan McLarnon (Massereene) and James Sugrue (Mallow) combined neatly to secure second place at the 2018 staging of the Juan Carlos Tailhade Cup. Hosts Argentina were too good for the visiting teams, finishing 12 shots clear of the field on level par but Ireland were best of the rest and will be hoping to go one better this year.
These tournaments form part of the GUI's High-Performance Programme, which is supported by Sport Ireland and Sport NI.
