Caption: The winner of the 2017 Connacht Under 16 Boys Open Championship which took place in Tuam Golf Club was Scott Miller, Clandeboye, Northern Ireland. He is pictured being presented with his cup by Connacht Golf Chairman Jim McGovern. Also pictured are Sandra Mooney (Lady Captain, Tuam Golf Club) and Oliver Curley (President, Tuam Golf Club).

A best of the day +1 (73) from the young man from Clandeboye was enough to secure a one stroke winning margin over another Ulster player, Ben Crawford (Greenacres) with Joshua Hill (Galgorm Castle) left to rue three consecutive bogies to finish taking third 2 strokes back.

County Sligo's Daniel Ford pipped his fellow Connacht team mate Sam Murphy (Portumna) to the Best U15 accolade on the countback, both players finishing on +9 after the 36 Hole event. Pictured are the various Prize winners with Club and GUI Officials
