Max followed his course record score of 67 on Thursday with a final round 75 to win by 4 shots. The Royal Dublin star started the day six shots ahead and turned in level par before bogeying three holes on the back nine.
Beaverstown proved to be a testing challenge for the players with only three competitors breaking par over the two days. Holywood's Tom McKibben shot a fantastic 68 in windy conditions to finish second with a total score of 146. After bogeying the first hole, McKibben birdied the 2nd and 5th to turn in one under and finished strong with birdies at 15, 17 and 18.
Alex Maguire of Laytown & Bettystown finished with a second consecutive 73 to finish in third place with Jack Egan (Muskerrry) shooting Level Par 72 to finish fourth.
