Killarney's Cormac Finn has a one shot lead going into the second and final round of the Munster Senior Amateur Open. Playing at his home club, Finn went around the Killeen course in two under par. Birdieing all three par fives, and two of the par three's, Finn's had three bogies to sign for a 70. He holds a one shot lead over Morgan Pierse Snr (Grange), Pierse was the only other golfer to break par on a sunny calm day in Killarney. John McGinn, Bob Loftus, Garth McGimpsey and John O'Brien are all within four shots and will no doubt form part of the chase tomorrow.
The Munster Seniors Amateur Open Championship is sponsored by Provest Private Clients and hosted by Killarney Golf Club. The final 18 holes takes place tomorrow, with a 7.30 tee time for the first starters. Live scoring updates (end of round) will be available from midday with a result due around 6.30pm.
