Munster Finals time for Irish Mixed Foursomes & Country Clubs Cup

​​​Castletroy and Spanish Point to host provincial deciders

There are two Munster Pennants up for grabs this weekend as the Cups and Shields head towards the provincial final stages.  Castletroy is host to the Irish Mixed Foursomes on Saturday where the four area qualifiers will hope to gain provincial honours.  Charleville will hope to win a second pennant to add to their provincial AIG Pierce Purcell title. They will take on Dooks in the first semi-final.  Fota Island take on Dungarvan in the second semi-final.  The winners will advance to the All Ireland finals which take place at Castletroy GC 6-7 September. 

On Sunday holders Spanish Point will be hoping to retain their Munster Country Clubs title.  The west Clare club will have home advantage and the hosts take on Lismore in the first semi-final.  Berehaven and Castlegregory will take on each other in the second semi-final.  The Country Clubs Cup is limited to nine hole courses and the competition is unique to Munster
