Photo: Fionn Dobbin (Malone) courtesy of www.andywebberphotography.com Murphy struck a perfect second shot at the last for a tap in birdie 3, leaving with Dobbin needing to match his score, from 15 feet, to win the title. His putt slipped agonisingly past the hole to the right leaving himself and Murphy tield at level par with Greg Healy (Bray) an earlier finisher at 1 over par and eventually third. In accordance with the Terms of Competition it was decided on a card countback, Murphy came out on top with a better back 2 holes – it could not have been closer.Photo; Ulster Branch Chairman Brian Hutchinson with Championship Winner Jack Murphy (Douglas) courtesy of www.andywebberphotography.com
