After 70 matches having been played in this competition the Final took place on Saturday 3 October at Concra Wood, Castleblayney Golf Club - report to follow. Weather Conditions were Dry with a Slight Breeze and occasional light shower.

Match 1. Bill Madden &Sean Carlin (Donegal) v Adam Dowds & Gareth Poole (Rockmount).
Donegal held the upper hand in this match throughout, with their putting keeping them in front to win the match 3/2. 

Match 2. Damian Mulhern & Daniel McMenamin (Donegal ) v Stuart Thompson & Francis Ward (Rockmount).
This match was similar to Match 1 with Donegal winning 4/3

Match 3. Shaun Meehan & Tiago Kangombe (Donegal) v Owen Flynn & Euan Neeson (Rockmount).
This match was nip & tuck all the way with only 1 shot between them at any time. It was eventually called in on the 15th hole as Donegal had already won the provincial pennant

Match  4. Darren Rafferty & Padraig Farragher (Donegal) v Andrew Gregge & Thomas Crawford (Rockmount)
Similar to match 3 this match was always tight with Rockmount holding the upper hand. It was also called in from the 14th hole with Donegal already winning the Provincial pennant.

Match 5. Oliver Plunkett & Christopher Hegarty (Donegal) v Philip Gray & William Blyth (Rockmount).
The Donegal pair were too strong for the Rockmount players during this match with their consistent golf, especially on the greens. It finished on the 13th hole with Donegal winning the match 6/5.
