Dunne qualifies in 4th place at Indian Ladies Amateur Open

Maria Dunne (Skerries) carded rounds of 79 and 70 over the par 72 Delhi Golf Course on days one and two of the 100th Usha All India Ladies Amateur Golf Championship.

On day two, her two under par round of 70 included three birdies over the last six holes. She qualified in fourth position on a score of 149. Malaysian golfer Nur Durriyah Damian qualified in the top spot after two rounds of 73. English golfer Gemma Clews, also supported by the R&A, shot rounds of 86 and 78 which meant team R&A finished in 5th position. 

Dunne is playing Siripatsorn Patchana, in the first round of match play after she qualified in 29th position. Clews finished in 31st place after the stroke play and will play Indian golfer Seher Atwal in the first round.
