World number one amateur Leona Maguire has added to her outstanding collegiate career at Duke University by capturing yet another win at the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge in California.
Maguire finished on a total of four under par over the three rounds, which included rounds of 68, 71 and 70. Her opening round of 68 included a hole in one on the 15th. An even par second round kept her close to the top of the leader board and she closed out with a one under par round of 71.
Duke University finished in third place overall, three adrift of Southern California, who secured the top place finish. World number three ranked amateur Olivia Mehaffey (RCDL), a freshman at Arizona State University was a member of the team as they secured second place, two shots better than Duke.
