Two hundred and twenty four ladies made the trip to Headfort Golf Club for the 2017 All-Ireland Medal Finals, with an even spilt between the Silver Medal (New Course) and Bronze Medal (Old Course) qualifiers. With both courses in superb condition coupled with sunny spells over head made for some great scoring throughout the day. See list of prize winners below

Headfort Golf Club has hosted the ILGU Silver and Bronze Medal finals since 2011 and due to the generousity of the club, will remain the home of the ILGU Medals for the next five years.
The 2016 Club Silver & Bronze Medal winners are awarded to the players who return the lowest aggregate of four Nett Scores in ILGU Medal Competitions from 1st January to 31st December. For the Silver Medal, all four scores must be returned whilst the player has a Playing Handicap of 20 or under, for the Bronze, whilst she has a Playing Handicap of 21 to 36 inclusive.
The ILGU Gold Medals are awarded to the players in each category, who have qualified as Silver or Bronze Club Winners and who card the lowest Nett Score at the ILGU Medal Finals annually.
The 22nd of May will see Club Winners from across the country compete on the Old and New Courses at Headfort in a bid to claim the 2017 ILGU Gold Medals.
