Ireland 8th and 15th at Europeans

​​​​​​Team Ireland are in action at the European Ladies and Girls Team Championships in Austria and Sweden

Great Britain and Ireland Curtis Cup Team members Olivia Mehaffey (RCDL) and Paula Grant (Lisburn) head up the Women's team, which will be led by past International and Professional Danielle McVeigh (RCDL). Lauren Walsh (Castlewarden), Mairead Martin (Kanturk) ​and Annabel Wilson (Lurgan) make the step up from girls level and prepare for their senior European Team debut's while Julie McCarthy (Forest Little) brings the experience of her first season at Auburn to the fore. 

Irish Women's Close Champion Sara Byrne (Douglas) leads out the Girls' team which also includes the experienced Valerie Clancy (Killarney). Aine Donegan (Woodstock), Nicole Joyce-Moreno (Royal Portrush) and Kate Lanigan (Hermitage) receive their first International call-ups and the final space goes to runner up in the inagural British Girls' U16 Open Championship Beth Coulter (Kirkistown Castle).
