The R&A Girls Amateur Championship will be contested by 144 competitors from 26 countries at Panmure from Tuesday 13-Saturday 17 August.

Players from as far afield as Australia, Canada, South Africa and the United States of America will join a strong contingent from Great Britain and Ireland and mainland Europe at the Angus links as the championship, founded in 1919, celebrates its centenary year.

Duncan Weir, Executive Director – Golf Development and Amateur Championships at The R&A, said, “The Girls Amateur Championship continues to attract a world class field and we are looking forward to welcoming golfers from around the world to Panmure.

“The course is in excellent condition and we are anticipating an exciting week of high quality golf as the world’s best young players compete to win this prestigious title.”
