The role of Lady Captain is evolving and it has highlighted an increasing need to understand and address the challenges facing clubs today. The Lady Vice Captain's Workshops take place for a 10th year in February and March 2020.

Topics covered on the day will ensure that Lady Captains and Vice Captains have a clear understanding of their role, the role of their Committee and in some cases the role of the Management Committee.

The workshops aim to empower Captains to take up their role with greater confidence and enjoy their year as they represent their Club and membership both locally and nationally.

Upon completion of the day long discussions it is hoped that attendees will understand better the challenges facing golf clubs and how they can be addressed. Networking among other Captains will also enable learning of best practices and experiences in Clubs nationwide.

The confirmed dates and venues for the Lady Vice Captains workshops are as follows:

Wednesday 26th February, Athlone Golf Club
Thursday 27th February, Newlands Golf Club
Tuesday 3rd March, Cork Golf Club
Thursday 12th March, Malone Golf Club
