JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP SCORING AVAILABLE HERE
On the 22nd of July 35 players will tee up at the North Dublin parkland in the hope of becoming Leinster Champion 2016. Of these players, 4 recently represented Ireland at the European Women's and Girls' Championships in Iceland and Norway while 17 represented their respective provinces at the Inter provincial matches contested at Slieve Russell last week.
2015 Champion Rachel Taylor (Laytown & Bettystown), who will be back fresh after competing at the World University Championships and the Inter Provincials, will be hoping to defend her title. There will be no doubt however that current Internationals Mairead Martin (Killarney), Louise Coffey (Malone) and Rachel Thompson (Cork) will be battling for the title also.
After 36 holes stroke play on day 1, the top 16 players will progress to the knockout match play stages to be completed over the next two days. Full information including the draw can be found HERE
The Leinster Women's Junior Championship - The Duggan Cup, will also be played at Corrstown from the 22 - 24 July. Entrants whose handicaps range from 10 - 18 will play 18 holes stroke play qualifying with the top 16 progressing to the match play stages. Full information including the draw can be found HERE.
