Fifty eight girls took part in the Ulster District qualifier for the Irish Schools competition at Carnalea Golf Club. The weather favoured play with hardly any wind. The course was in great condition. The competition is divided into senior and junior teams and senior and junior individuals.
Glenlola Collegiate took the Senior team prize with 56 gross points. The team members were Rebekah Gardner, Ella Ross and Brooke Stranaghan.
Runners up were Rathmore Grammar School, represented by Ciara Brennan and Olivia McCrystal with 48 gross points.
Anna Brewster, Anna Weiniger and Katie Nevin representing Sullivan Upper took the Junior team Cup with 28 gross points.
Runners up were Victoria College with Caroline McMichael, Abbie Poole and Emma Smith with 17 gross points
The senior individual gross competition was won by Tess McMillan with 28 gross points. The senior nett prize was taken by Katie Dick with 43 stableford points
The junior individual gross winner with 30 gross points was Molly O'Hara and the nett winner was Aimee Blair with 41 stableford points.
Glenlola Collegiate and Sullivan Upper go through to the all Ireland Finals to be played at Milltown Golf Club, Dublin on Monday 29th April 2019.
