The Masters

Golf's first major of the year, and in 2026 it belonged to Rory McIlroy. He defended his title with a final-round 71 to finish 12-under, one stroke ahead of Scottie Scheffler, becoming only the fourth player in Masters history to win back-to-back green jackets, joining Jack Nicklaus, Nick Faldo and Tiger Woods. It followed his 2025 win, which completed the career Grand Slam.
